What is Clever?

• Clever is an easy way for students to log into all of online programs they use at school.  

• SCSS uses Clever so students can have all of their digital resources in one place.  

• Clever eliminates the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.

Signing in is easy for students!

• 1. Go to www.clever.com/in/scss or the SCSS Student Symbaloo and click the Clever tile.

  2. Click “Login with Google”

  3. Enter student’s SCSS Gmail address.  

firstname.lastname@scss.screven.k12.ga.us (example: sally.smith@scss.screven.k12.ga.us)  

• 4. Enter student’s Chromebook password.

IMPORTANT:  Best practices for student's using a shared device

If your children are sharing a device at home, it is important for each child to log out when they are done working.  To ensure that your child's user session is ended before another child logs in, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Log out of Clever

• From the Clever Portal, click on the student's name in top right corner, select Log out.

Step 2: Log out of Google

• Pro tip:  You can click here to sign out automatically!

Step 3: Log in to Clever as new user

• Navigate to www.clever.com/in/scss to return to the portal for our district. Once our login portal is located, click on the Google button ​and enter your school email address and password. You should now be successfully logged in to the new user's Clever account!
