Tony Sim (Singapore) cruises to MISO16 Late Bird title
MISO15-SWC8 consists of 4 tourneys: a 1-day, a 2-day and two 3-day tourneys. By combining two or more tourneys, you can play for up to 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 days and a total of 25, 34, 41, 50 or 59 games.
A MISO16 Group Lunch is not simply a break from play but an opportunity to mix with players over some delicious local food.
After four days of uninterrupted play, it's time to put the Scrabble set temporarily aside, put on your walking shoes and sunhat to go out and explore the beauties of the Maltese Islands. Even those who are not new to Malta will discover a previously unseen attraction thanks to the local knowledge of the tour guides, Dominic and Anna Borg, who will take you off the beaten track.
MISO15-SWC8 allows you to play and stay under one roof, reducing the commute between bedroom and playing hall to a short haul in the lift. Ideal if after greeting your next opponent you realise you've left your specs or your pen on the bedside table!
Many of those who forgo such comfort can easily find alternative accommodation in close proximity to the tournaments venue.
N.B. Please note that accommodation at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel needs to be booked directly through the hotel.
