Cuboree 2026

CUBOREE IS ALIVE AND BACK FOR 2026

Cuboree is an event that has been enjoyed by Cubs in the ACT for almost 40 years. It is often a highlight of a youth members’ Cub career and it is also an event that inspires younger members to stay in Scouting for years into the future. The 2026 event will draw on all of the great Scouting traditions plus put a modern- day interpretation on how things could be done.

The 2026 event will be open for all registered Cubs and Guides aged 8 – 11.5 years of age. Consideration will also be given to applicants close to this age range who have missed a Cuboree in very recent times due to world or personal events.

There are lots of decisions and many late nights of planning that are still to come for this event. Hence many of the details are scarce at this time, and many may and probably will change over the next 12 months. However, below are some of our initial thoughts that will frame other decisions. As we get closer, we promise to both ask and listen to your thoughts and ideas.
