All of this goes to the national organization. The funds go to insurance for your scout for the year while on scout events as well as the costs for the programing that is provided.
These funds go to the pack to pay for the awards throughout the year and for various events throughout the school year.
Each year we offer fundraising opportunities to reduce the pack operating costs to keep dues down. Some oppurtunities can go to paying down the amount of pack dues needed.
When you renew you are given the choice of a year subscription to Scout Life Magazine. Inside it includes Jokes, Crafts, pictures of fun events etc.
The uniform page (Linked above) will go into greater detail on the pieces of the uniform. The only required pieces we have are the shirt, neckerchief and slide. These by themselves should be no more than ($80).
Pack Campouts: We will ask for a set amount per family to cover food costs/reservation costs. We will provide the number close to the event once we divide out by how many are going. These fees are minimal i.e. (<$30).
Council events throughout the year: The council offers many events throughout the year such as campouts, halloween themed events, sports games, STEM University. These costs vary but typically are around $10-15 per person.
Scouting is designed to get your child involved and get the most out of scouting. If there are costs barriers for your family; please let our treasure know. There are options available to help suppliment the cost.
