All pack communication is primarily through our GroupMe Page. We also will send emails directly to parents if we need to communicate something such as membership renewals. Each Den Leader may have a different process for communication. Please speak with your Den Leader to find out how they prefer to communicate to the parents.
Your childs advancements are handled on a site called Scoutbook. Your den leader may ask you to login and mark off what your child has completed for any at home tasks.
Youth Protection Resources
Youth Protection: A Parent's Guide (Link)
Each year parents are asked to complete an at home piece called Youth Protection. Each topic is short and no more than 20 minutes. Each one is by rank level and topics are tuned in for the right maturity of the scout.
Each your every rank has a short video to watch around topics of safety online and out and about. We recommend these be watch at home so that way if the scout has any questions about the topic . ( Lions Video, Tigers Video, Wolf Video, Bears Video, WEBLOS Video, AOL Video)
BSA Medical Form (parts A, B1, B2)
Each year, parents will turn in a BSA Medical form (A, B1 , and B2). A hardcopy must be provided to the designated leader for any campout or overnight trip. The form is good for 12 months. The Pack will keep it securely on file for the year. The PDF is editable so you will be able to fill it out, save a copy locally, and print it out/update it each year without having to fill out as much. A Link to the form is here.
Financial Resources
We understand that the cost to scouting could be hard on some families. This should not prevent a scout from having to have the scout experience. The local district has resources available to help you pay dues. If it is for camping equipment, we have the ability to borrow items from the troop. Overall, if this is you, please do not hesitate to speak with our pack Treasurer to determine options that are available to you.
