Agenda: Supply check. Introduce the pig homework. Move on with Rembrandt's Elephant. Start drawing step 3. Demo how to refine the drawing. Go over the pig set up.

Lesson: Drawing step 3. Rembrandt elephant drawing.
Agenda: Continue step 3, Guided drawing. Discuss planar analysis. Continue to drawing step 4.
Homework: Pig drawings are due for the first sketchbook check: Monday 8/17 tonight, complete step one.
Wed 8/12 Unit: Drawing Processes and Elements of art: Line
Lesson: Drawing step 4, and Rembrandt’s elephant.
Agenda: Draw with me. Step 4. Finish the Elephant together. Carefully check every aspect of the drawing. Discuss how to do that.

Lesson: Finish the Rembrandt Elephant.
Agenda: Finish all elephants. Self evaluate and collect all work.

Lesson: Sketchbook check and practice shoe project.
Agenda: Sketchbook check for the Van Gogh landscape (due today). Prep and go over the new homework: converse shoes. Continue work on practice shoes. Must have 5 different types of lime and contour as well.
Homework: Profile of Converse shoe due Monday Aug 31. Complete drawing step 1 tonight.

Lesson: Continue the practice shoe project.
Agenda: Finish the practice shoes. 5 kinds of line plus contour. Collect finished work.

Wednesday 8/26 Unit: Drawing process and elements of art.
Lesson: Complete all practice shoes and begin the full project.
Agenda: Prepare good paper. Students arrange their still life. Use tick marks to get the size correct. Students will lightly lay out the preliminary drawing.
