A Message from the Principal

Welcome! I'm Meagan Willhite, and I’m proud to serve as the principal of Stamping Ground Elementary.

As a school leader, my mission is simple: to create a safe, supportive, and high-achieving environment where every child thrives. I believe that students learn best when they feel known, challenged, and cared for — and I work every day to ensure that our school reflects those values in everything we do.

I lead with high expectations, clear communication, and a strong belief in the power of relationships. Whether it’s making decisions about instruction, supporting teachers, or responding to a concern, I always ask myself: “What is best for students?” That question guides every move I make.

I also believe that great schools don’t just happen — they’re built with intention. I’m deeply involved in the systems and routines that keep our school running smoothly, and I work hard behind the scenes to ensure things are thoughtful, consistent, and aligned to our shared goals. At the same time, I never lose sight of the human side of this work — the importance of listening, encouraging, and working together as a team.

To the families of our students: thank you for trusting us with your children. I value open communication and strong partnerships, and I hope you’ll always feel welcome reaching out with questions, ideas, or feedback. Together, we can make Stamping Ground a place where every child feels supported, seen, and inspired to grow.
