Our Green School Committee
The Green Schools committee were elected in September 2024.
There are two/three representatives in each class starting from 2nd Class - 6th Class.
We have achieved 9 green flags for the school over a period of 18 years!
Our next Green Flag that we have been working on is Global Citizenship Biodiversity.
As part of our ongoing commitment to Green Schools, we revise previous themes such as Walk on Weekdays, Scoot on Weekdays and Clean Air Week.
Cycle on Weekdays
We encourage the pupils at Scoil Bhríde to cycle to school as a healthy green initiative.
Clean Air Week
We completed a survey on car emissions and unnecessary idling outside the school causing poor air quality.
We were runners up in the Nationwide competition!
Scoot on Weekdays
We encourage the pupils at Scoil Bhríde to scoot to school as a healthy green initiative.
