Grades 1, 2, and 3 have been working hard on their Advent selections for a concert they will be presenting on Tuesday evening, December 12th, at 6:30 PM. The theme of this year's concert is "Circle The World With Love" and will feature singing, narration, and Advent scenes. 

Grades 4 and 5 have been working on Church music. In addition, classes have been participating in fun music games and activities.

Classes have been singing and studying some famous musical selections including "Eye of the Tiger" and "Y.M.C.A." In addition, students have focused on the "Doppler Effect" and its use in music. We have also covered musical intervals and applied this to building major scales through specific musical intervals. In the future, middle school will study the New York Philharmonic Orchestra using interactive strategies.
