What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment allows students to take college level courses while also attending high school, earning both high school and college credits at the same time. Students will stay enrolled with CASC while also enroll with a local technical college that is approved through your School Counselor. Dual Enrollment students will earn credits that count towards college and high school graduation requirements.
Dual Enrollment Requirements:
Be in 11th or 12th grade
Have a 3.5 or above GPA
Have taken English 1 & 2 with a minimum final grade of A-B
Have taken Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry with a minimum final grade of A-B
Many colleges have offered free tuition to students who qualify and typically, students need to take at least 6 credit hours per semester.
