Four Year College Requirements

Please note that this is not an all-inclusive list of what colleges require but is meant as a guide to assist in what four-year colleges would like students to take. Please check the requirements for the specific four-year college you would like to attend for exact admission requirements.

Math: At least one math higher than Algebra 2

Science: Many four-year colleges would like to see at least 3 years of a lab science: Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics. Some colleges prefer to see at least two different fields of study.

World Language: Many four-year colleges would like to see at least two years of the same World Language. In South Carolina, Clemson requires 3 years of the same World Language

Fine Art: One credit/unit of a Fine Arts course. CASC offers Music Appreciation or Art.
