Assignments will be graded in a timely manner and feedback will be provided to students about their work. 5th graders are graded on proficiency toward the standard: Exceeds Expectations (4), Meets Expectations (3), Nearly Meets Expectations (2), or Does Not Meet Expectations (1). A zero (0) is given in no work is turned in. Any assignment that is graded with Nearly or Does Not Meet may be redone and resubmitted for a better grade. These corrections should be done within a week of students receiving feedback about their grade and the level of their work.
