A quote is just a piece of an idea
Short sentences,
long sections with bundles of information,
exciting words that catch your eye
Some that might just make you wonder
Inclosed by symbols that mean beginning and ending
Scattered in chapters of books and article paragraphs
Though sometimes being given to you is the start of an assignment
There is freedom with your thoughts and perceptions
“The length of its silence shapes lives.”
Question it, wonder out loud and reflect on the themes
The steps that every teacher wants a student to take
Maybe it is used in an essay, short story, or a poem
“Shouted you,
you the murmur
in the air, you
sometimes sounding like you,
you sometimes say you.”
The reason we are allowed to dissect these quotes is because
Some brave souls adventure to publish their findings
To make them known to the people outside of the circle
Those who are sharing a piece of themselves
Telling their story with a voice
