My name is Jenny Miller, and I am one of the seventh grade learning support teachers at Schuylkill Valley Middle School. I have been a special education teacher for eighteen years. I am excited to start my seventh year at Schuylkill Valley School District. Special Education has always been my passion.
I earned my teaching degree at Temple University, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. Additionally, I hold a Masters Degree from Wilkes University in Instructional Practices. Throughout my career, I have held various special education positions, each one shaping my knowledge and refining my practice. This journey has led me to earn an Autism Endorsement Certificate from Kutztown University and my Principal Certificate from Alvernia University.
Beyond the classroom, I am a mother to two incredible boys, Ryan and Zachary, who bring endless joy and chaos to my life alongside my husband Kevin. Together, we cherish moments spent at the beach, amusement parks, and just spending time together. In rare moments of quiet, I enjoy non-fiction books on historical figures and events, as well as a diverse range of podcasts that feed my curiosity fulfill my passion for continuous learning. My family is my foundation, my students are my motivation, and Special education is my lifelong commitment.
