As ASB President, I have the privilege of running business meetings and overseeing the work of all commissioners, as well as our executive team. I also attend monthly Steele Canyon Charter High School Board meetings as a representative of the student body. I look forward to helping create a fun and unified community!

Ximena Castaneda Vice President
My job as ASB Vice President is to run Cougar Congress, the Golden Apple selection process, as well as organize all of the club charters that obtain approval by ASB. I am determined to maintain this role through positivity & diligence in order to serve the student body. I am beyond excited to contribute to the wonderful community that I am a part of!

My job as ASB Secretary is to take notes during business meetings and Cougar Congress. I make the map and menu for club rush. I look foward to keeping our ASB class organized and to help support the rest of the executive team. I am so excited to be apart of this amazing team!

Michael LopezTreasurer
My job as Treasurer is to conduct and approve bills, present ASB's monthly budget to our staff board, sign all purchase orders, and keep a record of all ASB accounts. I help advise our Fundraising and Finance team, and I'd be more than happy to answer any financial/fundraising questions you have!

Olivia Marrujo (she/her), Attorney General
As Attorney General, I have the honor of handling several jobs. I oversee Class Council Elections, organize the Homecoming Court, and lead the planning of our Winter Formal. I also work closely with the Special Events commission and support the events they organize. I'm excited to be a part of this team and contribute to our school community!

Community & Culture Building

How we serve the Steele Canyon Community:

CCB strives to create a connected environment by engaging the student body through positive interactions. CCB works on validating and including all parts and individuals of SCHS's community. Overall, CCB values the growth of SCHS's culture and the outreach to its members.

F & F

Fundraising and Finance

How we serve the Steele Canyon Community:

F&F will be working in the student store where you can find all the spirit gear such as SCHS hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, and much more! We will be maintaining the online student store and keeping it up to date. F&F will also reopen the snack bar during many school games and events. Our commission will be working closely with Mrs. Ritchey, our finance technician, to start new fundraisers and bring back old ones. F&F will strive to raise money for the school, which will enhance the experience of every individual at SCHS.

Special Events

How we serve the Steele Canyon Community:

Special works to plan and organize some of our biggest events on campus, including Homecoming, Mr.Steele, Battle of the Bands, and Dodgeball. We also assist and work closely with our Attorney General to set up and prepare for our Formal Dance.

Tech

Technology

How we serve the Steele Canyon Community:

Tech will work on videos for ASB events throughout the school year for spirit weeks, sports, etc. Tech members will also be operating the sound box (tech board) sometimes during lunch, lunchtime activities, and assemblies to broadcast music.

Publicity will create posters for all upcoming events. We will also keep our social media platforms regularly updated with all school announcements. Our goal is to keep students informed on the latest news and events that happen at Steele Canyon.

How we serve the Steele Canyon Community:

Spirit plans all of our assemblies and spirit weeks along with many other activities that promote positive school culture. Our goal is to create the most fun and spirited environment for our student body. We strive to make the high school experience as memorable as possible though shared experiences.
