Reduce Waste and Recycle
The Youth Leadership Council at Ditmas - 8th Grade Mentors The pictures shows a brainstorming session for their community action project. Students collected data about recycling and sketched the main characters for a children's short story about the benefits of recycling. The youth leaders also collaborated with student artist from the Afterschool Program hosted by Flatbush Development Cooperation (FDC) to brainstorm ideas for an Art mural that will be mounted at the school, this is a part of their community action project and to promote the YLC program for the 2024-2025 Cohort!
