Dear NYC Superintendents, Principals and Guidance Counselors,
I hope this message finds you well.
Salute to Youth, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of our 2026 Scholarship Program supporting graduating New York City seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and artistic excellence.
Since 1960, Salute to Youth has awarded more than $950,000 in scholarship assistance, investing in the next generation of leaders across New York City.
This year, eligible students may apply for one or both of the following scholarships:
Salute to Youth Merit Scholarship
Recognizing academic excellence and leadership
Award Amount: $2,000 – $3,000
Miller-Waters-Fenty Scholarship
Recognizing students with talent in the arts and academics, including vocal, instrumental, dance, visual arts, drama, and other artistic disciplines
Award Amount: $3,000 – $5,000

NYC Resident
Graduating High School Senior
Submission of essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation
Talent applicants must also submit a performance video or portfolio
