David Olesh serves as an Academic Policy & Systems and Performance & Assessment Lead for District 15. Before joining District 15, he served in the same role at the Brooklyn North BCO. Prior to joining Brooklyn North, David was Program Chair, Data Specialist, and Science teacher at Automotive HS. David received his Certificate in School Leadership through the Hunter College/New Visions CLASS program. He was a New York City Teaching Fellow, graduating with a master’s degree in Science Teaching from Pace University. He has a bachelor's degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Harvard University. He is a life-long New York City resident and a third generation NYC public school educator.
