PS 18 joyfully celebrated Holi, the vibrant Festival of Colors, bringing together students and staff in a beautiful display of unity, culture, and joy. Holi is a traditional Hindu festival that welcomes spring and celebrates love, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil. Our school community embraced the spirit of the holiday with colorful activities, music, dancing, and meaningful lessons about its cultural significance. It was a joyful reminder of the power of inclusion, diversity, and shared celebration at PS 18!
At PS 18, Career Day is an exciting opportunity for our students to explore the world of work and dream big about their futures!
Community members, families, and professionals from a wide range of fields visit our school to share their careers, passions, and personal journeys. From doctors and artists to firefighters and entrepreneurs, our students get a glimpse into the possibilities that await them.
Career Day inspires curiosity, sparks conversation, and helps our students see how their learning connects to the real world. Thank you to all who participate in making this day meaningful and memorable!
PS 18 proudly celebrated the 100th Day of School, a milestone that marks 100 days of learning, growing, and achieving together!
Students and staff joined in the fun with creative math activities, writing projects, and even dressed up as 100-year-olds to mark the occasion. From counting collections to imagining life 100 years from now, it was a day full of joy, reflection, and school spirit.
Here’s to 100 days of hard work and many more ahead!
