About Our School

P.S. 169 is dedicated to creating a nurturing and intellectually enriched environment that develops each child's unique capabilities in a home school partnership.

It is our goal for all children to foster a love of learning through developing the skills they need to flourish in today’s complex world.

We do this by providing learning opportunities that develop critical thinking skills and creativity, encourage collaboration and communication, embracing cultural diversity, enhance understanding and celebration of differences while building citizenship and character within our students.  

At P.S. 169 we cultivate children to coexist in the garden of life while displaying their singular characteristics.

Our logo, designed by students, embodies our school philosophy – “loving to learn, learning to love”.
