The Parkside PTA

Our PTA serves an important fundraising, communications, and – at times – problem-solving role for our school. We invite everyone to join us in planning and enjoying the wide array of events and committees that exist to make our children’s school experience unique and special. 🍁 PS130 PTA Fall Fest 🍁

Date: Sunday, October 18th, 2026

Times: 11:00am-3:00pm

Place: PS130 Upper School (713 Caton Ave - between East 7th and East 8th Street)

Details: This event is open to the public for the whole community to enjoy. It's a great time to be outside to enjoy some activities & treats and raise money for the PTA. Look for the signup sheet on Konstella since this is our biggest event and need many hands to make the work light. Fall is the season of harvest and feasting; fall is a season of baking and treating. Come join the fun!

P.S. 130 PTA Mission

1. To provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children;
2. To promote and develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school;
3. To develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement by all parents in our school community;
4. To foster and encourage parent participation on all levels; and
5. To provide opportunities and training for parents to participate in school governance and decision-making.
