The Parkside PTA

Our PTA serves an important fundraising, communications, and – at times – problem-solving role for our school. We invite everyone to join us in planning and enjoying the wide array of events and committees that exist to make our children’s school experience unique and special. 🪩 PS130 Last Day Disco Party 🪩

Date: Friday, June 26, 2026
Time: 2:45pm - 4:45pm
Place: Greenwood Blacktop

Details: This last day of school celebration is for students in all grades and their families as well as P.S. 130 staff. We'll provide light snacks, cold drinks, ice pops, and party music. Bring blacktop-friendly activities like sidewalk chalk, stomp rockets, jump ropes -- and your dancing shoes!

This is not a drop off party, and children must be supervised at all times.

P.S. 130 PTA Mission

1. To provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children;
2. To promote and develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school;
3. To develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement by all parents in our school community;
4. To foster and encourage parent participation on all levels; and
5. To provide opportunities and training for parents to participate in school governance and decision-making.
