Behavior Contract:
All students are expected and required to abide by all the computer lab rules (R.E.D.C.C.S)~See the "Wheel of Wonder" for more information on the next page. Students who are not meeting these expectations in the lab will work with me on the (R.E.D.C.C.S) strategies to achieve a positive outcome.
Reward System:
I am a big fan of rewarding students. If I see on-task behavior, that effort is being made and work is completed, that will be acknowledged. The reward given is not always the same. It can be verbal praise, a written one, or something tangible (Pencil, eraser, or a ball.)
Wheel of Wonder: The wheel will be spun at least (2x) at the end of a class period. If the spinner lands on your name you get to choose a prize. Your name will be hidden if there is another spin, giving another student the chance to win. Next week we start with a clean slate. Everyone's name is added back to the wheel. :-)
Communication with Parents:
Parental communication can and will be done in a variety of different ways. This will include awards sent home with students, phone calls, and the contact form available through this website. Parents will not only be notified of disruptive behavior but also of positive happenings.
