Blueprint: Moving Image 

Professional Development Series 2025-2026

The citywide series of Moving Image Blueprint professional learning is open to moving image, general education, special education and other arts teachers. Each professional learning program will highlight a different cultural destination and feature a unique media arts experiential learning component, offering skills and resources for teachers to bring back into their classrooms.

Blueprint: Moving Image Professional Development workshops offers CTLE credit and will take place on the following Citywide Professional Learning days:

Session 1: Tuesday November 4th, 2025

Maysles Documentary Center, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Viewing of the iconic cinema verite film “Primary” 

Session 2: Monday, January 26, 2026 

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Man Ray: When Objects Dream

Session 3: Thursday, June 4, 2026

All sessions will address and align with the NYC DOE Blueprint: Moving Image, NYS Media Standards and Citywide Instructional Priorities.
