Twenty-one student films (Click Here for the Festival Program) from public schools citywide were selected in the categories of Feature/Narrative, Animation, Experimental, PSA Advocacy and Documentary by a panel of NYC Public School Film Festival teachers and media professionals. The student filmmakers chosen represent the diversity of public school student voices across the five boroughs.
Adobe has partnered with NYC Department of Education and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment to support the NYC Public School Film Festival! All NYC public school students and teachers have FREE access to Adobe Creative Cloud Express (through their DOE credentials) to support students’ creative filmmaking.
Adobe Express for Education is available for K–12 schools and gives students and educators everything they need to create standout graphics, flyers, photos, presentations, web pages, and videos (for FREE)—and express themselves in unique and beautiful ways both inside and outside the classroom.
For an additional purchase, Adobe Creative Cloud takes your photos and videos to the next level while also building your creative digital skills. It also includes features designed to support student learning and safety, such as premium creative assets, student-friendly Adobe Stock images, safe search for images and videos, create and export to PDF, and more.
As of March 3rd, 2025 at 5 PM, the only products you will be able to access for free is Adobe Express.
You will need to purchase licenses on FAMIS for the Adobe Creative Cloud for each student using the product in your school including teachers.
