Basquiat Project: A Social Justice Project (For Brooklyn Teachers)
Shared curriculum in partnership with the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation Social Justice Fund that brings arts and social issues into conversation for you and your students. We have a kick off in the fall. Brooklyn based teachers will be emailed an invitation in the fall.

Creative Spirit Of NYC Kids
A celebration of NYC students' creativity from all five boroughs that showcase students' artwork. Now in its 25th year, teachers are invited to submit student work to be selected for the exhibition at The Met.
Each fall applications open for P.S. Art and close in the winter. We have two rounds of judging artworks, including a guest artist Judge. We look forward to this collaboration with our partners at Studio in a School NYC and the Metropolitian Museum of Art
Since 1909, The School Art League has supported the visual arts education of New York City public high school students through programs and services that advance their knowledge and skills. The Saturday Art Career Workshops at The One Club for Creativity and the artist-led workshops at The Society of Illustrators introduce students to career opportunities in the arts. The School Art League also provides scholarships and awards to graduating students, and presents historical bronze medals to sophomores, juniors, and seniors for excellence in artistic achievement. The School Art League expects to resume its annual ceremony at The Met in June 2027. Visit https://schoolartleague.orgto view the 2025 award and scholarship recipients. Application instructions for medals, awards and scholarships will be sent to all high school visual arts teachers in Spring 2027.
