Camera shy means your senior portrait will not be included in the yearbook and your name will be listed under camera shy. This does not mean that you do not want to take a senior portrait or other photos of you will not appear in the yearbook.

Effective June 2021, all camera shy requests must come from a parent or guardian. To submit a camera shy request, a parent or guardian must

• send one email to kdarius3@schools.nyc.gov and your child's counselor. This request cannot be sent from a student's email address.

• the email must include the following:

  • • Senior's full name

    • OSIS number (A 9-digit on students' Midwood id card)

    • the best number to contact the parent or guardian.

If your are looking for your senior's portrait but are unable to find it:

• • • • • Portraits are sorted in alphabetical order by last name.

        • If your senior is camera shy, their name will be listed in alphabetical order by last name.

        • If your senior's portrait is missing from the yearbook, they may not be recognized as seniors due to missing credits.
