Instructional Innovator | Award-Winning Educator | Entrepreneurial Leader
I’m not your average educator—I’m a creative powerhouse dedicated to transforming how learning happens. As a leader in instructional design and education, I cultivate human capital by fostering a culture of collaboration and growth, both in and out of the classroom. With 19 years of experience across instructional design, curriculum development, and leadership, I’m always pushing boundaries to craft engaging, innovative educational experiences that make lasting impacts.
As the 2021 Big Apple Award Winner and 2023 FLAG Award Finalist, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and leading teams at Staten Island Technical High School, where I serve as UFT Instructional Coach and Peer Collaborative Teacher. I thrive on collaborating with educators, exploring cutting-edge pedagogical approaches, and integrating technology into classrooms. My work and ideas have even been featured in Edutopia and Hacking Assessment (2nd Edition), where I contributed to rethinking how we assess and empower students.
Beyond the classroom, I’m an entrepreneur at heart, having founded and grown multiple businesses. From mentoring small business owners through the Vine Vendor Network to crafting artisanal products with Scents the Moment, my passion for creating dynamic learning and business environments knows no bounds.
Whether I’m writing a course like Gods, Monsters, and the Apocalypse, delivering professional development, or leading committees on cultural responsiveness and equity, I bring a bold, fresh approach to everything I do. I thrive in environments where innovation and collaboration intersect, fostering teams that bring fresh ideas to life. Let’s connect to inspire, collaborate, and build the future of education and beyond!
