Painting of Blue Cornflowers

This masterpiece started out from boredom and became beautiful blue cornflowers on February 3, 2025. 

Introducing Maya, the artist of this painting. Using only a fan brush, water,  acrylic turquoise, blue, and black paint, these striking cornflowers bloomed in  just a few strokes.

Maya said, “I wanted to paint a few blue cornflowers for fun. So I first dipped my fan brush into a small amount of water and then I dipped it into acrylic turquoise paint. I started to slowly apply thin layers of different shades of blue one at a time for all five flowers. Finally, I drew a straight black line underneath each flower as a stem.  I also drew leaves for each flower. After I was done painting the blue cornflowers, I started painting the background.”
