Poster Project: North vs. South Comparisons
Choose Your Comparisons: From the chart, select 4-6 categories (like Presidents, Generals, Weapons, Economy, etc.) that you find most interesting or important to compare. Also, pick one major battle (like Gettysburg or Antietam) to include.
Individual Paper Sections: Each group member will create a comparison for one of the chosen items or the battle on a regular-size sheet of paper.
Paragraph: Write a short paragraph explaining the key differences and similarities for your chosen comparison.
Visuals: Include charts, graphs, images, or maps to make the information clear and engaging.
Assemble the Poster: Combine all the individual paper sections onto a larger poster board. Arrange them in a way that is organized and visually appealing.
Color and Design: Add color, headings, and other design elements to make your poster stand out and be easy to read. Make sure the information is presented clearly.
Presentation: Be prepared to explain your poster to the class, highlighting the key comparisons you've made.
