3. Edit your poster as needed to have no more than 4 different colors

Tip: By repeating the use of graphic elements (fonts, color, shapes and space) the poster will look more inviting and organized

1. Notice the borders of space around graphic elements in the poster sample

2. Apply your learning to your poster

3. Scale text/images down or up  as needed

1. Use guides to align text / images as much as possible

1. Create a line of point type for giving credit to your text sources.

2. type in "credits:" followed by (see below)

3. Formatting Instruction

• lower case• sans serif 6 pt• Don't include entire link, just website.

4. Repeat a color that you already used in your poster and that will make the text easy to read

5. Use the selection tool to rotate and position the text as shown in sample left

1. Create a line of point type for a title and your name

• Title  case

• Sans Serif 10 pt

• Make the Title Italic

3. Repeat the color that you used for your credits

4. Use the selection tool to position the text as shown in sample left making sure to align it to your left text guide

We used two different fonts: Myriad Pro and Letter Gothic Std.

We used several different versions of Myriad Pro which allowed for repetition and variety at the same time
