Frederick Douglass Academy will be utilizing the curriculum for Social Studies called Courseware. Our scholars will be utilizing the curriculum of Courseware founded by Edmentum throughout their study of Global and United States History and Government.

Throughout the school year the scholars will be studying extremely important topics of United States History, Government, and Economics. Scholars will be exploring through reading primary and secondary sources of various articles on the topics listed below. Moreover, scholars will be utilizing their English Language Arts skills to create Document Based Essays, Thematic Essays, and Argumentative essays on various topics.
