BTHS WHO is a non-profit club created in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. While world hunger has been a pressing issue long before the start of the unprecedented pandemic, it has gotten worse after millions of people have lost their jobs, and have fallen into deep poverty. Throughout our years of being a club, we have invited doctors and professors specializing in nutrition and food insecurity to speak about the causes and consequences of hunger, and have raised over $700 and over 300 pounds of goods in support of anti-hunger. We offer volunteering and fundraising opportunities, in addition to other methods of advocacy for world hunger.
