Welcome! You've arrived at your resource hub for all things related to work-based learning (WBL) at Bayside High School. Our mission is to inform and guide students and parents through the exciting world of internships and other real-world learning opportunities.
Work-Based Learning (WBL) experiences are part of Bayside High School’s renowned six Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. WBL is more than just a job—it's a chance to connect what you learn in the classroom to the professional world. Through these experiences, you'll gain valuable skills, explore potential career paths, and build a professional network. Whether you need to design & 3-D print a circuit board, plan and run a fundraiser, record your first single, or update the schools website, this site is designed to help you discover the perfect WBL activity for you.
In addition to learning in the classroom, each CTE program offers students WBL experiences that empower students to explore their career goals, skills, and interests while applying their academic and technical knowledge in real-world work settings. With the cooperation of industry partners, local business, and school support, students gain knowledge and skills through hands-on experience.
