This is the easiest way to contribute to teacher meals for conferences, ongoing staff appreciation, community events like Harvest Fest and Winter Warm-Up, and much more.
The Parent & Family Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means your contributions are fully tax-deductible. Consider a recurring monthly donation to provide ongoing, reliable support—simply select "Make this a monthly donation," and PayPal will take care of the rest.
An employer match donation is when a company matches the charitable donations its employees make, often dollar-for-dollar or up to a certain limit. For example, if you donate $100 to a qualified charity and your employer offers a 1:1 match, your total contribution to the charity would be $200.
Here’s how it generally works:
You make a donation via Paypal, Venmo, or check to St. Paul School of Northern Lights Parent & Family Group. We provide you with a receipt, and you submit proof of your donation to your employer, often through an online form or a paper request. The employer verifies the donation and processes the matching contribution by emailing pfg@schoolofnorthernlights.org. The employer then sends the matching amount directly to us.
To take advantage of this benefit, you usually need to follow your employer’s specific process and ensure that the charity you’re donating to meets their eligibility requirements.
The Parent & Family Group has partnered with Velasquez Family Coffee, a St. Paul-based coffee roaster, to offer a way to buy good coffee and support the work of the PFG.
When you buy coffee, just be sure to choose Northern Lights Parent Family Group in the fundraiser drop-down menu before you check out, and 29% of the proceeds will go directly to the Parent & Family Group.
