1. Pupils must be punctual for assembly at 8:40 a.m.
2. Pupils must be orderly and quiet at all times.
3. Pupils arriving at school before 8:40 a.m. must engage in quiet, meaningful activity in the courtyard.
4. At the sound of the bell, all pupils must queue quietly and walk orderly to assembly.
5. Pupils must leave and enter the classroom in single file.
6. Orders by teachers, prefects and ancillary workers must be promptly obeyed.
7. Classrooms must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
8. There must be no playing during Break Periods.
9. No child must be seen playing in the classroom or along the corridors.
10. The correct school uniform must be worn at all times.
GIRLS: ONLY BLACK, or NAVY BLUE hair ornaments or ruffles; NAVY BLUE ribbons, no beads.
BOYS: No fancy haircuts (no high tops, no parts or designs). Tams must be worn for locks and plaited hair.
ALL SOCKS MUST BE TURNED DOWN
11. Parents/Guardians must send a written excuse for lateness and absences of the child at all times.
12. Pupils must be courteous and respectful to ALL members of staff - teaching and ancillary.
13. Shouting, fighting, stone throwing, loud noises, name calling, obscene language, bullying are forbidden at ALL
times, whether on or off the school premises while still in the school uniform. NB: you are an ambassador of the
school while you are in uniform.
14. There must be no eating or drinking along the street.
15. Chewing gum, penknives, razors, scissors and other sharp-edged instruments or glass bottled drinks must NOT be
brought to school.
Un-necessary talking during a lesson.
Disruptive cross talking/answering out of turn.
Un-necessary unauthorized walking/moving around the classroom during a lesson, seat work or a test.
Use of abusive language.
Speaking harshly to and about peers/calling peers unkind names.
Cheating.
Pushing/fighting/lining up in a disorderly fashion.
Playing in the classroom/jumping on the furniture.
Sharpening pencil in the desk or on the floor.
Standing at the bin in large groups sharpening pencils.
Not doing homework assigned.
Disobeying the teacher.
Not completing work / working slowly.
Writing on the desk, classroom walls / bathroom walls.
Turning up for school without pencils, eraser, the appropriate books and other necessary tools.
Littering in the classroom/eating and leaving wrapping or trays on the desk.
Keeping desk untidy.
Placing books in places other than those specified for books.
Parents doing homework for the child; especially the parent writing in the books.
Untidy books e.g. drink-stained, dog-eared and books without their covers.
Writing in the wrong subject books.
Writing with pen without permission.
Not doing homework.
Not handing in completed or correct exercises.
Not doing corrections.
Not revising.
Not forming letters and numbers correctly.
Lack of preparation for work.
Use of abusive language.
Calling peers unkind names.
Speaking harshly to and about peers.
Pushing.
Fighting.
Hitting.
Wrestling.
Kicking.
Lining up in a disorderly.

Taking over younger students games.
