GENERAL WELFARE OF CHILDREN
1. Teach your child:-
· His/her full name
· His/her full address
· His/her date of birth and age
· His/her parent’s/guardian’s name and workplace
· His/her telephone number
This information is very important in case of an emergency.
2. Teach your child these little courtesies.

Encourage your child to practice these courtesies at all times.
3.(a) Be interested in your child’s/ward’s welfare. (know the name of
your child’s/ward’s teacher).
(b) Know your child’s/ward’s friends and their parents.
(c ) See that homework given is done.
(d) Visit the school periodically to keep abreast of what is happening
in all areas.
4. Parents are requested to:-
(a) Monitor your child’s report.
(b) Pay close attention to comments and discuss these with the teacher.
5. Give your child his/her working tools:
Pencils, work-books, exercise books, rulers, erasers, hymn book,
Bible.
6. Please advise the school of any change of address or contact numbers.
7. Parents are requested to call or visit the school should any problem arise with their child or ward.
8. WARNING: Parents are warned against first approaching or accosting any pupil in case there is a problem. It is a
criminal offence.
9. All concerns must be addressed to the teacher or principal.
10. Parents/Guardians must wait by the office for their child/ward.
11. You must sign in your child/ward if he/she arrives late for school after 9:30 am. and sign out your child/ward if
they are leaving school before the end of the school day.
12. DRESS CODE FOR ADULTS
Parents, guardians and other adults must be modestly dressed when on the school’s compound. (The school is a
place of business, where morals and values are taught).
Roland Edwards Primary School does not have an after care program. Therefore you need to collect your child/ward by 2:30 p.m.
