Making and editing computer images has come a long ways from early bit map editors.  Modern graphic editors strive to be user friendly or in other words intuitive.  Operations that used to take multiple clicks in different drop down menus can now be done by  clicking and dragging.   Lucky for us, most graphic editing programs use similar concepts and tools.  What you learned in one program can be applied to another, if you are willing to try it. Remember, a mistake is only a failure if you don't learn from it. Make mistakes, learn, and have fun with it!
