The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) offers six scholarships valued at $2,000 each to First Nation, Inuit, or Métis students enrolled or accepted in a minimum two year, full time program with an accredited Canadian educational institute.

FPAC Skills Award For Indigenous Youth
Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) gives two awards to individuals that exemplify the qualities of strong academic standing, commitment to their field of study and to the revitalized forest products industry, and demonstrated commitment to the Aboriginal community.
Value - $2500
Deadline - March 31st
Awards are open to all Indigenous students who have been out of school for at least one year, who have since decided to return to an educational system, and who have been back at school for at least one full year.

The National Indigenous Scholarship Program is awarded annually to three incoming Indigenous undergraduate students (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) studying full-time at Western’s main campus based on their outstanding academic excellence. The National Indigenous Scholarship also recognizes the candidate’s academic achievements, creative and innovative thinking, and previous or intended contributions to Indigenous communities (on and off reserve as well as urban settings).
Value - 2 awards at $50,000 each to Indigenous students applying from Canadian high schools ($20,000 for year- one, $10,000 for year’s two to four based on ongoing registration)
1 award at $50,000 to an Indigenous student applying from a postsecondary institution ($20,000 for year-one, $10,000 for year’s two to four based on ongoing registration)

First Nation Information Governance Centre National Student Bursary
The FNIGC National Student Bursary is awarded each year to exceptional First Nations students enrolled in college or university studying in fields related to the advancement of First Nations data sovereignty.

Indigenous Clean Energy Scholarship
BluEarth awards the Aboriginal Clean Energy Scholarships (ACES) to Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary education. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to be partnered with a BluEarth team member who will act as a learning partner throughout their academic year.
Value - Up to $3000 Annually

Hydro One Leonard S. (Tony) Mandamin Awards
The Hydro One Leonard S. (Tony) Mandamin Awards are distributed annually to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions or training programs in Ontario with demonstrated financial need for contribution to education costs. Eligible students must demonstrate leadership skills and involvement in his/her community or extracurricular activities and must be returning to school the following year.
Each Hydro One Leonard S. (Tony) Mandamin Award recipient will be eligible to apply and be considered for a paid work placement at Hydro One. Work placements are not guaranteed but based on work placements availability and the needs of Hydro One’s hiring managers.

SC Post-Secondary Student Support Program
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) provides financial assistance to eligible First Nation, Métis and Inuit students who are enrolled in eligible post-secondary programs. The program aims to improve the employability of First Nation, Métis and Inuit students by providing them with funding to access education and skills development opportunities at the post-secondary level.
It is important to note that funding is limited. Not all eligible students who apply are funded but it is important to explore all your options.

Indigenous Learning Centre Bursary Program
MNP & AFOA Canada are dedicated to helping Indigenous leaders reach the highest standard of excellence in finance and management. This is one example of that commitment.
The MNP-AFOA Canada Indigenous Community Excellence Award recognizes an Indigenous community that has demonstrated significant change through governance, leadership and management excellence. A task not easily accomplished but has been undertaken by an entire community to propel change for its members.
Applicants/Nominees are asked to demonstrate how their commitment towards progression has positively impacted their members, stakeholders and those they work with.

ACTO Indigenous Education Awards Program
ATCO Indigenous Education Awards Program supports First Nation, Inuit and Métis students across Canada by providing financial assistance to help them in their quest for higher education.
Value - Merit Awards ($500) – for students completing Grades 10 – 12, including upgrading;
Bursaries ($1,000) – for students enrolled in trade, diploma or certificate programs;
Scholarships ($1,500) – for students enrolled in degree or graduate programs.

James Bartleman Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Awards
This award recognizes up to six Indigenous students for their creative writing talent. Award recipients are chosen from three geographic areas: fly-in community, on reserve, and off reserve.

Many awards and bursaries (fall under this application form) for students taking full-time studies in a post-secondary education program.

Kathleen Blinkhorn Aboriginal Student Scholarship
ONPHA’s Kathleen Blinkhorn Aboriginal Student Scholarship supports Indigenous students living in non-profit housing in Ontario. Each scholarship winner receives $2,000 for use towards their post-secondary education costs, like tuition, books, technology and transportation

Jordan's Principle Scholarship
In memory of Jordan River Anderson, three scholarships will be awarded by the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada to First Nations students studying at a Canadian university. Students must demonstrate a commitment to Indigenous children's health and community service as well as academic commitment and achievement.
Value - Five scholarships (2 x $5,000, 3 x $2,500)
