Students at St Clement Danes School benefit from an innovative and engaging curriculum, dedicated staff, and exceptional facilities. Our most recent Ofsted inspection rated the school as Outstanding, highlighting that students’ academic achievements are matched by their exemplary personal development.
We are committed to maintaining, and building on, these high standards. However, the state secondary education system is facing increasing financial pressure. In light of this, many parents ask how they can offer financial support during their child’s time at the school.
To facilitate this, we have established the Anchor Fund, a charitable fund registered with and regulated by the Charity Commission. The Anchor Fund is designed to enhance your child’s educational experience at St Clement Danes by supporting the purchase of additional resources that provide broader opportunities for students.
Parental support for the Anchor Fund is vital to sustaining the extra resources that distinguish St Clement Danes from other schools. We are deeply grateful to the many generous parents who choose to contribute during their child’s time with us.
You can donate online using the link below and your donation will be processed by the Charities Aid Foundation. Please remember to tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK Tax Payer.
"The Barrington Stoke titles and Scholastic graphic novels have made a remarkable impact on our students - engaging reluctant readers, boosting confidence, and fostering a genuine love for reading. We are sincerely thankful to the Anchor Fund for providing these enriching resources that are opening doors for every kind of learner."
Mrs Warrick - Librarian
"We’re incredibly grateful to the Anchor Fund for their generous support in providing a tufting machine for our GCSE and A Level students. A tufting machine is a specialised tool used to create textured textiles, often for rugs or fabric art. It’s an exciting addition to our textiles department, giving students the opportunity to explore new techniques and develop their creative skills in innovative ways. This will undoubtedly enrich their coursework and inspire their artistic journeys."
Miss Georgiou - Textiles Subject Leader
"Thanks to the Anchor Fund, hands-on experience with pond sampling and survey equipment brings ecology to life. It allows students to engage directly with ecosystems, collect real data, and develop a deeper understanding of biodiversity and environmental science."
Mrs Bonwick - Head of Science
