MEET THE TEACHER

My name is Amanda Pasion, I usually go by Mandy. I grew up in the Shawnee area and graduated from Shawnee High School and then went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University. I still currently live in the Shawnee area.

I have been a part of the St. Charles community for a very long time! I taught Art for 4 years right out of college. We then had our oldest son Nick and I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. After we had our third child and she went to preschool, I taught Art at her school. When she started kindergarten I then decided to come back to St. Charles as an educational Aide. I worked with a student one on one for about two years while he was in second and third grade. For the 2019-2020 school year I then took the third, third grade teaching position. --And now here I am in fourth grade! What a journey!

In my free time I love to watch my kids play their sports. They are involved in basketball, football, baseball and soccer. My husband and I enjoy golfing together and as a family we love to go up to the family lake house in Michigan.

Some of my favorite things are, hot Chai Lattes, iced Caramel Macchiatos, french fries and all things veggie! I love the color Tiffany Blue, I love watching the Food Network, and most of all I love spending time with our friends and family!
