It is imperative to engage families in computing activities and leadership at their child's school. Being part of our digital society is more and more essential for today's world and gives parents a voice - a voice to communicate with school, to participate in their child's education, to understand support the development of 21st century skills - critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication - for their child. Our goal is to teach CS in ways that honor and leverage our students' racial, cultural, and gendered identities to develop a positive computer science identity for our students.
