TRiO Upward Bound is currently looking for 9 & 10th graders with 2.5 GPA’s. Also, if you have any Juniors that have 3.0 and have tested for SAT/ACT, please share the link and flyer with them. We want to get the activated and enrolled ASAP, if they qualify.

GCAL is a free resource provided to all Georgia Families that aims to provide immediate and qualified mental health assistance and referrals to families. You may also download the MyGCAL app at no cost from the app store.

What should I do if I become aware of a child welfare concern?


If you become aware of a concern for a child’s well-being (i.e. abuse or neglect), please contact the Department of Family and Children Services at 1-855-GA-CHILD to make a report. Reports are anonymous. If you believe that a child is in immediate danger, please call 911. ​


My child is asking a lot of questions about COVID-19/Coronavirus and is very anxious about everything that is happening. How can I assist my child in coping with all of the news and changes?​

As this is a new and constantly evolving challenge for all of us, it is perfectly reasonable for your child to have questions. The best advice is to be as honest with your child as possible while reassuring them that you and others are here to support them during this time.
