Mrs. Gillette has been playing the piano since she was 8 years old. She studied piano privately until high school graduation, adding percussion studies as a middle schooler. She remembers well how her music teachers were some of the very most important people in her life. Mrs. Gillette began her college career studying music education with a focus on percussion, then switched to performance early on and began studying the organ. Her degrees include a bachelor's in organ performance from Eastern Michigan University and a master's in organ performance and sacred music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Mrs. Gillette loves helping each student discover their strengths, develop awesome habits, and learn how to share the joy of music with others.
