Educator Evaluation

About

The South Carolina Public Charter School District (SCPCSD) adheres to the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) approved District ADEPT (Assisting Developing and Evaluating Professional Teaching) Plan. This District Plan is updated and approved each school year. We comply with state regulations through implementation of ADEPT educator evaluations for all certified staff. Certified educators are responsible for maintaining a valid South Carolina teaching certificate. Educators holding a valid teaching certificate in South Carolina undergo an annual evaluation using the state's Expanded ADEPT South Carolina Teaching Standards (SCTS) 4.0 system. 


SCPCSD’s District Evaluation Liaison serves to support school leaders and educators through the evaluation and certification process. The District Evaluation Liaison serves as a liaison between each school and the SCDE.
