Writer's Workshop

Writing in kindergarten is incredible! We begin the year by learning that our drawings tell a story. We progress by adding labels and even writing sentences (sometimes multiple!) by the end of the school year. We focus on labeling our own books, writing true stories, "how to" books, and persuasive writing. You will be AMAZED at the growth from the beginning to the end of the year.
