Dear FBLA Supporters, 

The State College Area High School’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is hosting their First Annual FBLA Pickleball Tournament fundraiser, Lobbing For Leadership, on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at Nittany Valley Sports Centre in State College, PA. The tournament will start at 8:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. 

FBLA is a competitive business club that prepares students for careers in leadership and business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs. Each year, we attend regional, state, and national competitions to apply our business knowledge, learn from industry leaders, and participate in various leadership, career preparation, and professional development workshops.

If you generously donated to our efforts last year, we sincerely appreciate your contribution! You may remember our annual FBLA Golf Tournament. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce the FBLA Pickleball Tournament as a new and exciting event to raise funds for our students to compete at the state competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania this April. Your contribution will help lower the costs associated with students competing at our state competition, such as travel, lodging, and dining expenses. With your support, we can provide more students opportunities to attend our state competition and enjoy a wonderful learning experience.

To ensure our tournament experience is enjoyable for all participants, we would love to partner with local businesses like yours! Your donation--monetary or physical--will greatly assist us in making this event a huge success. Monetary donations will help cover the cost of the tournament with profits helping out members. Physical donations like gift bags/baskets, gift cards, gift certificates, swag bag gift items, food/beverage items, etc., will be used as prizes for the day of the event. Your support, of any value, will be immensely appreciated. 

To guide your decision, we have donation tiers that outline the donation value requirement for various benefits you can receive in return. The four levels are:
