Emergency Binder is in the top left desk drawer
Seating charts are in white binder in brown cubby next to SmartBoard but students should know their spots.Â
Students should not touch any instruments in the room unless it is indicated in the sub plans.
Emergency "everything has gone wrong and I don't know what to do:" Google Chrome Music Lab or Incredibox.com and let kids play around as a class. Please only do this as a last resort!
Mangiamele - 2:05-2:45
First time: sing and do body percussion
Second time: JUST do the body percussion (sing in your head)
Third Time: sing and do body percussion again.
Have everyone turn into trees with a partner.
Then, make some trees "apples" so that you have enough apples to fit in each tree. (e.g. if there are 6 trees, there should be six students who are apples)
Play 6 rounds: each apple gets a chance to be an apple twice. After two turns, they trade with ONE tree person (they know how to do this).
Click on THIS LINK to visit a website where students can play a music game as a class.
The premise:
Students have to listen to the pattern (either played on the piano or sung--you pick by clicking "keyboard" or "voice" and then choose the correct number answer.
They can practice level 2. They can do all modules: 2a, 2b, 2c and take turns coming up to choose the correct answer.
Students sit in a circle
While singing, they pass the blue/purple pumpkin around to the beat.
Once they get out they can sit on the small carpet and when enough students make a second circle they can play for fun or watch the original circle.
