Students should not touch any instruments in the room unless it is indicated in the sub plans.
Emergency "everything has gone wrong and I don't know what to do:" Google Chrome Music Lab or Incredibox.com and let kids play around as a class. Please only do this as a last resort!

Students are in three teams. They should make lines towards the back of the room, but be mindful not to bump into instruments when moving around.
The whole class sings the song. Then, after the last "glumph" in the song, the teacher says, "Ready, set, go" and the first three students frog jump race to cross the finish line
**Frog jumpers must only jump with two feet or their race doesn't count!
All students must sing to play!
"Clap your hands together, give yourself a shake! Make a happy Circle, now let's cut the cake"
Rules: students hold hands in a circle. One student is chosen to walk around to "cut the cake" when the cut the cake, those students speed walk (no running!) and shake hands 3 times on the other side of the circle to get back to their spot. They MUST go around the entire circle, they cannot turn around to go back,

Once you've gone through practicing the song & chant, give each group their Insect Card to practice (on the gray cabinet)
They should practice speaking their critter part and come up with a movement.
Practice for 5 minutes then share out with class.

Take 5 minutes to practice performing your A SECTION found sounds composition from start to finish. You can work individually on this.
Continue on to finish writing your B, C, AND D sections. These should all be different. Make sure you use all rhythms from the bank by the end of your entire composition.
Once finished, clap and say your entire composition
