For EVERY CLASS, Read "the Story of the Nutcracker" (red book.) I've written post-its on each page detailing whether you should stop and play a video below or continue on. At the end of each page you can press the music note on the book to play a snippet of the music from the ballet.
Some of the activities inter-dispersed are videos to watch, some are listening maps to follow along while listening, and some are movement activities.
Play the above video and hand out the March Listening Map Laminated Sheet. Can the students make sense of the lines while listening to the song?
