Birthdays
Birthdays are very special! In accordance with the district’s allergy policy, birthdays will be celebrated without refreshments.
We will be sending home a Birthday Padlet that your child can share up to 5 special items they would like to share with the class.
Please help your child choose those items carefully. If your child is too nervous to share in front of the class, they can also record a short video of themselves sharing their special items. You can then upload the video to the Birthday Padlet the day before their birthday or the Friday before their birthday (if their birthday is over the weekend), we can view it as a class from our Smart TV in the classroom.
Some helpful questions to guide them in their presentation:
What is your special item?
Why is this special to you?
When and where did you get this item?
Who gave this special item to you?
This is a nice way to learn about one another while celebrating our birthdays and promoting a variety of language art skills.
